FASTNET ROCK mare from an Arrowfield family.
Facing the starter only once for a close-up third at Ballarat, this Fastnet Rock mare is the first foal of the Arrowfield-imported mare DESERT FIGHT, a South American multiple Group One winner. The third and fourth foals of the mare went on to be Australian Group winners KEBEDE and PANZER DIVISION. Both by REDOUTE’S CHOICE, they are three-quarter siblings to Fighting Flyer.
The entire family continues to be bred up by Arrowfield – Desert Fight herself has an unraced 2yo filly by SNITZEL, a yearling colt by NOT A SINGLE DOUBT and is in foal to THE AUTUMN SUN.
Half sisters to Fighting Flyer have pregnancies and juvenile progeny by stallions including DUNDEEL, SO YOU THINK, PIERRO, CAPITALIST, TRAPEZE ARTIST and SHALAA.
Fighting Flyer herself has sent two to the races so far for two winners (both by Toorak Toff) and her unraced 2yo colt by I AM INVINCIBLE was bought at Easter by Ciaron Maher for $340,000.
Fighting Flyer sells in foal to rising star BRAZEN BEAU and there is plenty to look forward to both from her own progeny and the progeny in her immediate family.
