Quality mare throwing quality foals.
An attractive, classy mare, Guapa is away to an exceptional start to her breeding career and has been given every chance to succeed.
Her first foal by DEEP FIELD was good enough to make $160,000 at the Magic Millions National Yearling sale and has won twice for Matthew Smith.
Her second foal went even better, making $300,000 on the Gold Coast to the bid of respected agent Justin Bahen. Sent to Anthony Freedman, she started twice in 2yo races in the early autumn for a third and second placing at Sandown (Click Here to view race) and will be back for the Spring.
Her third foal – a colt by EXCEED AND EXCEL – was also a Magic Millions graduate, making $130,000 earlier this year. Guapa has a first season HELLBENT weanling colt who carries the same quality as her older siblings.
Out of an American Group Two winning mare and a half sister to three stakes horses, Guapa carries a deep American pedigree but the family has shown it can succeed in Australia through the full siblings ASSERTIVE LAD and ASSERTIVE LASS (mother of the unbeaten successful sire RESET), as well as Australian Group Three winner NEW TIPPERARY who all appear in the pedigree.
Guapa sells in foal to Victorian stalwart MAGNUS and is a sure bet for breeders looking for a mare who can consistently deliver attractive foals.
