FASHION SNIPTZ - 16.1HH
Sells in foal to Deep Field, one of only a handful of Australian stallions who has seen a rise in their 2019 service fee, going from $44,000 to $55,000 in 2020. We understand he is already fully subscribed for the 2020 season at this new fee.
And for obvious reasons as Deep Field has had a great year both in the sales ring and on the track.
In the sales ring his yearlings have sold for up to $800,000, with a sale average of $166,000 and sale median of $150,000 (51 sold).
On the track Deep Field is currently the leading 2nd Crop Sire for Winners (75) well ahead of second placed Better Than Ready (53). He is second (behind Rubick) on the prize money list with progeny earnings of $5,185,241. If you took the $6.6 million Yes Yes Yes earned from his win in The Everest out of Rubick’s total of $9,829,038, Deep Field would be nearly $2 million clear of Rubick on the sire’s table.
Some of Deep Field’s better performers to date include Group 2 winner Cosmic Force (now at standing at stud at a fee of $15,000); recent Group 2 winner Xilong; the highly promising Sydney filly Fituese, 5 wins from 7 starts including a last start Listed Race win; recent Victorian Listed Race winner Riddle Me That; plus the extremely smart Brisbane 2yo Isotope, 2nd in the Group 2 Champagne Stakes on the 23rd of May.
Fashion Sniptz is a quality scopey type standing 16.1 hands high. She sold as a broodmare prospect for $50,000 at the 2017 Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale. In 2018 she produced a colt by Maurice, described by Verna Metcalfe, Manager at Middlebrook Valley Lodge, as a well above average first foal, which has continued to progress into a very nice yearling. This colt was never entered for a sale and has been retained to race. He has been broken-in and is likely to be given to a top ten Sydney trainer. Her owner decided not to cover her in 2018. She went straight into foal to Deep Field in 2019 and is due to foal on the 4th September.
The original plan was for Fashion Sniptz to be offered at the Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale, however, because she is due to foal early September and because of the sale’s rescheduling from late May to late July, it was decided to offer her online now, which gives her new owner plenty of time to move her prior to foaling.Fashion Sniptz is offered for genuine sale.
