Lot 8 - Lucky Foo Foo (AUS)

LUCKY FOO FOO is a full sister to the impressive unbeaten 2YO STREET PARADE. This exciting youngster could certainly enhance the residual value of LUCKY FOO FOO in the first half of 2022 and is currently spelling and being set for next year's Magic Millions 2YO Classic and Karrakatta Plate. 

LUCKY FOO FOO is blessed with good looks and her fair share of ability, but she does have a stubborn streak that now sees her required to trial twice before stewards prior to racing again. Please note, the temperament of this filly is fine, but she has developed a habit where she digs her heels in when approaching the starting gates and does not want to be loaded. She is not dangerous nor does she have a bad streak in her, she's just stubborn! The times when she has loaded into the starting gates (five trials and one race start) she has stood in there perfectly and jumped (began) well. A smaller stable with plenty of patience may reap the rewards on the racetrack if that barrier stubbornness can be addressed.

A pleasure to handle around the stables, it's fair to say LUCKY FOO FOO will make a lovely broodmare in time and is being offered for genuine sale as a potential racing and breeding prospect. 

It is a frustrating position for her current connections as LUCKY FOO FOO is a lovely type of filly and an inspection will not disappoint. As we have stated above, she does have some quirks and has tested not only a number of barrier staff here in WA, but has tested the patience of her ownership group to the point that they now feel it is time to move her on and let someone else try their hand at getting the best out of her.
