What an opportunity that is presented here for racing and breeding operations around the nation!!

This is a 4YO mare everyone should be hoping to add to their broodmare band with the prospect of racing on still before she heads to stud!

With her owners not being breeders and the fact they have acquired some new yearlings in the past few weeks, connections feel now is the time to offer BUZZOOM up for Unreserved sale with the breeding season only a matter of a few months away. 

Last racing at Listed level on the 11th March where she was beaten around three lengths, Buzzoom has been spelling since then but is obviously fit and well and could easily race on if her new connections chose to do so. 

A terrific racemare for connections who was as honest as the day is long, BUZZOOM is a 6 time winner who has won or placed in over half her lifetime starts earning over $550k to date.

It's fair to say that her finest win so far was no doubt the Listed Burgess Queen Stakes as a 3YO. Coming from the rear weaving a passage and clearing out to win in emphatic style was a career defining win for this filly. Buzzoom followed that up with a fast finishing second placing in the Champion Fillies at Group level a fortnight later running home the fastest final 600m of the race to fall just short of winning. Up there with the best 3YO's of her year, it was great to then see BUZZOOM return and win at black type level as a 4YO - BUZZOOM is a stakes winner this current racing season winning the Jungle Dawn Classic over the Ascot Summer Carnival.

A deadset flying machine, a multiple stakes winner and a good sort to add, BUZZOOM was purchased as a yearling by an extremely well respected judge in Danny Morton (as yearlings Danny has purchased the likes of SCENIC BLAST - Australian Horse of The Year, SCENIC SHOT - Triple Group 1 winner, KISSONALLFORCHEEKS - $1.7m earnings to date, DAINTY TESS - $1.1m, MAN BOOKER - $1.1m etc) so any prospective buyer can be confident of her physical type given the sorts of horses Danny purchases. 

BUZZOOM is clearly the best horse sired by her sire Safeguard and is therefore a grandaughter of the mighty sire influence EXCEED AND EXCEL. Out of a Xaar mare, Buzzom had a half brother by Sessions sell for $155k at the recent Perth Magic Millions Yearling Sale in 2023 (Sessions averaged $61k at that sale which really shows the appeal of the half brother)

BUZZOOM is a well made mare, good size (standing 15.3 / 16hh high) she has plenty of strength and substance to her and would be a great addition to any breeding operation.
