Winning twice and placing on six occasions, Count Octave was second twice to the superstar STRADIVARIUS in group company running him to a neck in the Royal Ascot Queens Vase, GR2 and 1 1/2 L in the York Lonsdale Cup GR2, also 2nd in the Goodwood March S.L and 3rd Newmarket Jockey Club S, GR2.
FRANKEL is taking all before him and it is only a matter of time before he becomes a champion sire of sires following in the footsteps of his own sire GALILEO. His sire sons to have an influence in Australasia to date include TEOFILO and his son KERMADEC, RIP VAN WINKLE, CHURCHILL, HIGHLAND REEL, NEW APPROACH and his son DAWN APPROACH and soon PAULELE.
